This is my Snuggles. She lives up to her name. She is one of seven kittens that I raised from ten days old. You can never have too many kittens.

What a wonderful tiny kit - I love the left foot with some black toes and white ones on each side - also that orange splotch on the face is beautiful as well as the little spotted tummy with a slightly pink area. We should all look so cute when viewed reclining with our feet up !!! She looks like a real sweetie !!!
Snuggles is darling! Looks like possibly a Maine Coon, lucky you! I have a new kitten named “Mr. Snuggles”. I got him at the shelter. The second I held him, he purred and snuggled, hence the name.
I grabbed Snuggles out of Huddy’s momma hands and put her in MY backpack and ran for the car !!! But I will return her so others can snorgle with Snuggles !!!
Adorable and tiny! Her expression is a little sad..sort of like please love me. So cute and I want to pick her up and give her cuddles and kisses and comfort her. So precious!
Rosie,
I like the one that says,”Cats are like cookies, you always want more than one!” I seen this on a shirt with kittens on it.

Terri- Leesburg FL,
It was a sweatshirt. It was in a clothes catalog that I got last winter. I don’t know if they still have it but I can get you the online address. Sometimes if you visit a company’s website, you can do a search for the item, if you have the Item number. I can try to find the catalog and item number for you, if you’d like.

Terri - Leesburg FL,
I found the address and the number. I will post it later. I am short on time right now. So, check back a little later. I also found it on sale for 1/2 off.
Me too! I sure could use the break. My Marine hasn’t showed up yet, her friends picked her up at the airport and I haven’t hear a word from her yet! I’m glad she’s having such a good time.
You must be VERY excited to see her. My busy schedule is my own doing…. I have a big performance this weekend with all the rehearsals and sewing that go with it…. I love it, but it’s exhausting at times
Hey Karin, did you see the post at the end of yesterday’s list? It is someone looking to hire people in the SF area.

I went and looked at his post but I don’t think it is up my alley. I have worked in the financial industry but in sales support. I did have an interview at one of the largest financial companies and have another interview next Monday at another one.
I know what you mean Karin. I also work through a temp company and even though I have been at my current assignment for 2 years we have ben through 3 different temp companies and this last one is the worst.
They are giving me a real hard time because I missed a few days due to my 18 month old running a REALLY high fever and not being able to go to daycare.
Hang in there the perfect postion will come at you when you least expect it.

Wow Tracie, you have been in one assignment for two years? I couldn’t do temp for more than a year with my company. I wish you luck with your current situation and hope it gets better. There are so many agencies out there that when I posted on Monster.com, I got a number of them calling me. Nice to be wanted now if only it was a permanent employer calling.

I have been trying to get permanet here for as long as I’ve been her but there is always something that keeps e from getting it.
The first was I had to go on maternity leave early due to my daughter being so dang big. 2nd was the site mgr left for another company and third is my supervisor I have now doesn’t like me. Considering the position I put in for was hired on permanet but yet I am still training him and I am temp…
Go figure.
I came to my present job as a temp in 5/96 - I didn’t go permanent until 11/97. They drag their feet sometimes. The last job I had in California, I temped for 2 WEEKS and they hired me.
You guys, the right thing will come along. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like it - but it always does eventually.
So jealous. I will be running around crazy until after next week. Then I go back to elementary substituting instead of Home and Hospital teaching. Plus I am trying to put together 10 application packs for a teacher recruitment fair on St. Paddy’s Day. UGH! Seems like I never have enough time to relax.
Huddy’s Mama enjoy your time off.
Snuggles is just PRECIOUS!! Lookit the teeny little paws and the cute little spot-nose…This is one of those kits that makes me want to do tummy-raspberries on her belly til she looks at me like I’m crazy…such a sweetheart!!!

Hello everyone! Boy did I ever miss you guys yesterday, I couldn’t get on the site at all…I was so bummed!
Snuggles is absolutely snuggle-a-precious. I want one…..”stomping feet and throwing a tantrum”, a 39 year old tantrum at that!! EEEEK! 40 is right about the corner too….
Indeed, plus everybody thinks I’m still around 33 or so. But I’ve never really acted my age either. We’re talking about somebody who takes off work to go to whatever city they are holding Wrestlemania in.

47 is a wonderful age! Actually, any age where I have money, health, and my five cats is a wonderful age.
I take time off of work to attend the Anime Expo; luckily this year it will be held in Long Beach, CA. So it is usually me and about 500 young men and women dressed up as various anime characters. I was trying to convince my boyfriend to dress up as a character, promising many treats as rewards (to quote Buffy the Vampire Slayer: “There may be outfits!”).
The great thing about being older is that one can choose when to be immature, but still pull out the gravitas when necessary! My Girl Scouts think I am totally groovy, and one of them said to me “You aren’t like any other adult that I know!” - said while she was a passenger in my Spongemobile, my bright yellow VW Bug that I have decorated in a homage to Spongebob Squarepants.

Life is good when you have cats and your health - am trying to stay alive and well - old enough now I can’t adopt any more kittens - enough about age !!! To those dancers - try belly dancing - a real miracle for the tum and fun too - but don’t bother with all the costume the finger and toe ornaments are enough to get you in the right mood - plus the cats will love the tinkling sounds. Old Age without Cats JUST WRONG!!

I am 43 and find that I do not feel different other than my body doesn’t lose the weight as easily as it use to. Turning 30 was the worst because my boyfriend broke up with me one month before my birthday and since I invested my heart and soul into him, it was a very bad experience. Turning 40, didn’f feel any different but I am sure turning 50 will be quite different. I have longevity in my family so 50 is like the new 30 for us. In my family you either live so long they get tired of you (my grandmother died at 98) or check out waaaay too early (my mom only lived to be 52). I always feel that if I make it past 52 I’ll have it made.
sooo TINY!!!!
Squuueeee! Lookit the little pink tummy!

WooHoo! Lookit me First Pounce! And such a sweet baby too! I love that pink belly, I bet there are some little pink kitty toes to go with it!!
Oh well, I took too long to write it
Ya gotta be fast here
Yes it makes me laugh because if you hadn’t written first pounce you probably would’ve made it
I grabbed Snuggles out of Huddy’s momma hands and put her in MY backpack and ran for the car !!! But I will return her so others can snorgle with Snuggles !!!
A fumble by Huddy’s Mama and pick up by Cheri, and it looks like she’s making a run for the end zone…..
Pitchfork time!!
You guys are so funny with this back pack thing. I wish I had more time to read all the posts. Alas, work and school are pulling me away.
Seriously cute! Look at that adorable expression!
Adorable and tiny! Her expression is a little sad..sort of like please love me. So cute and I want to pick her up and give her cuddles and kisses and comfort her. So precious!
my comments are taking too long to post !!! I lost Snuggles due to the posting time…Wah….
i just want to nibble on her little ears, she’s so cute!
Oh, how cute sitting like that! I just love tiny kittens with their blue eyes and bright little faces. Those white feet just beg to be kissed!
So adorable not even as big as a minute and that is about how long it took me to fall in love with her.
Hi Susan. You are sooo right she is absolutely adorable. Looks too cute! My parents might even let me keep her if I smuggled her home. ;o)
She is just too cute for words. I just want to snuggle her little pink belly
Hey Tracie, what part of TX you from?
Fort Worth and I am taking that the SA is Granf Ole San Antonio (my favorite place to be)
What part of Fort Worth? I’m in N. Richland Hills
I live right outside of NRH. I am right on the esge of NRH/Hurst/Arlington/Ft Worth.
Easier yet. I am 5 min away from N. Hills Mall.
But I work in Coppell….
Snuggly soft. Come on Snuggles, you go in the backpack.
Wait! wait! Let me kiss that little nose and rub that soft pink belly before you put her in there!!! Ok off she goes.
We are both out of luck. Somebody took her before I had a chance to.
Oh, what a cutie! Does she have extra toes or is it just the markings on her toes that make her look that way?
Looks like she can barely sit up on her own.. leaning against the arm of the couch. I love the saphire blue eyes…
She does look a little drunk doesn’t she? Brings new meaning to LUSHish little girl! Snuggly-wumpkins!
Im on ur couch watchig ur TVz
It is so cute to watch cats curl up. Like Snuggles here, sometimes, my Shadow looks as if he is sittingup–just like a human.
*SIGH* you really can’t have too many kittens can you? So cute!
My friend sent me a cartoon that just said, “Cats are like potato chips, you can’t have just one!”
Rosie,
I like the one that says,”Cats are like cookies, you always want more than one!” I seen this on a shirt with kittens on it.

I’m off too. Headed to Birmingham, AL to visit some friends and their cats!

That sounds like fun ppearson! Have a fun and safe trip.
I get to lay about after my temp assignment ends on Friday. The bad part is I do not get paid. No worries. I will find something new soon.

Couch Potato Fuzz!!
She looks like she has had a couple of thimblefuls of whisky to me but she is meltingly beautiful!
Snuggles is so incredibly cute! Alex, did you have a nice birthday?
What a little sweetie-cakes!! Just so tiny and precious…
That’s ging to be one gorgeous cat when she matures. ADORABLE
Snuggles is just PRECIOUS!
Oh thank you Snuggles, your picture just made me smile after a rough morning!! A kiss on your cute bi-color nose!!
What an adorable, precious little fluffy!!!
(Gladys here, testing a theory as to why I’m spam)
Snuggles…what a cutie! And such a teeny little spot-nose, too…
what a sweetheart! I want one…
Snuggles the tiger-baby
Raised by hand
Just the cutest
In the land.
When I see him
I don’t know why
He’s so cute
I want to cry.
Before anyone says so, yes I know, Snuggles is a girl. Sorry.
Have you seen this?
http://videocat.blogspot.com/2007/03/adopt-airborne-cat.html
OMG…. I don’t think I’d want to be underneath them when they came back down ! Neat add though !
Oh… and I enjoy your poems…
Okay, cute video, but I have to wonder if someone was throwing the cat in the air?
Its and ASPCA ad, so I have to believe that no kitties were harmed in the creation etc etc
Cute kitties, Ivory Bill. The poor kitties act like they were on a trampoline! Hope you and Josh are well.
I suspect they were probably chasing one of those cat dancer type toys and the background was erase. I’ve seen those moves before!
Always enjoy your poems Ivory! No need to cry though
Snuggles is just PRECIOUS!! Lookit the teeny little paws and the cute little spot-nose…This is one of those kits that makes me want to do tummy-raspberries on her belly til she looks at me like I’m crazy…such a sweetheart!!!
When I was growing up, my parents called raspberries “fla-burts”. Did anyone else ever know them by this name, or were my parents just very creative? haha!
Your parents were creative. Mine were too.
Piano = piss-oliver
Guitar = Gitfiddle
Watermelon = jungle plum
Yep… agree on the gitfiddle
My sister-in-law calls the ‘raspberries’ on the belly “tubas”
Yes - they were quite creative too! Loved the watermelon one haha!
I myself have a few odd names for pretty common items:
Horse = fluffygia
Birds = bujjies
Pillows = puhs
Stomach = studda
motorcycles = buttecicles
I know I’m strange…..
motorcycles = murdercycles
motorcycles = crotch rockets
I’ve always known them as Zurrrrburrrts.
We know them as zurburts also. I first heard it on the Bill Cosby Show. He and Rudy were zurburting each other.
Ahh - maybe that is where my parents got it from and just changed it around a bit.
My parents weren’t givers of raspberries, but when I was grown I had a roommate who referred to them as “zerberts”.
(I am SO HAPPY I can post again!!!!!)
I want to snuggle snuggles! :>
*sigh* only two days left before I get to see my own kitties… yay!
Here is what I think the little one must be thinking:

40 isn’t bad…. actually neither was 50. Holy Aging Batman! Can I really be over 50?!?!? Don’t act it
I’ll be 47 in a couple of months. I didn’t care about turning 40, my 20s and 30s were sorta hectic - lol. I dunno how I’ll feel about 50 though.
I’m a frequent lurker, seldom poster. I’ll be 47 in a couple of months too. My cats keep me young!
Mine keep me young also, with their constant antics and entertainment.
Beats the alternative. Every day above ground is a good one.
Too funny a comment ppearson! Such wit!
