Gaggle of Fuzzbutt
The most amazing thing is you got them all in one camera shot!!
oH MY I love blue pionts i had one but It ran away please don’t let a moment pass with out saying i love you to them
God bless all the kittens in the world don’t sale them for enything
Yay, I’m the first! They’re the best Christmas present a momma kitty could want, especially since there’s nine of them! I bet she was just happy to have them out of her. They’re adorable!
Yes, what lovelies - Lady Roo must be very proud. Who was the lilac point ?? or was that a grandparent ?? I had a wonderful choc point for 15 years who got poisened when the neighbors sprayed their yard - my wonderful vet tried so hard to save him, that’s 40 years ago and I still miss his wonderful personality.
Alice-so sorry-My husband sprayed for fleas in our yard one evening and one of my furs went out to the kennel nearby and moments later I was rushing him to the ER for respiratory distress. We were lucky that night. What was your baby’s name?
My baby’s name was Pyewacket - after a movie kitty, can’t remember the name of the movie, so long ago, but of course I remember the wonderful cat. Thanks for your condolences - so glad your furperson survived - more and more “chemical lawns” now so everyone do be careful !!!
Themovie was Bell, Book and Candle with Kim Novak and Jimmy Stewart.
Pyewacket’s from Bell, Book and Candle.
I, too, had a chocolate point. He died of kidney failure almost 18 years ago and I still miss him so much. Of course, I love the kitties I’ve had since then (wouldn’t be a home without a fuzzbutt), but no one has taken his place! There’s something special about the chocolate point personality.
I jnow how you feel
Just be strong and fase the moment
now that is a mess of kittens!
Whoa! — Looks like a bunch of my Little Man’s. I’m seeing double.. triple… tons! Very cute though!
Good Morning all! They are gorgeous. There’s enough of these beauties to go around today. One for me, Huddy’s Mama, Elaine, so no pitch forks are necessary. Please leave them at home!
Have a great day all.
I want one! Tinafish slips in and gently scoops up one, no two. One is the lonliest number, but two can be lonlier, oh no, three go in the backpack. Have a great day!
I’ve got to have one. Such a wonderful Christmas present. A bushel of Meezers!
oh boy now we can get a kitty each ,in you go little one with the dark colored ears.
Oodles and oodles of cuteness. They are absolutely beautiful. Nine kittens! Wow, I bet mom cat was tired afterward.
As I start this I am 3rd or 4th. Good morning to all TDKers, hope it will be a good day for all.
Lady Roo had a few. Hope they all find good forever homes.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww So cute.
They are soooooo pretty and I thought my cat having seven kittens was alot!
I also was going to say what a beautiful package of presents from Lady Roo to her humans. And again, enough for all of us to have a kitten in our backpacks…
How’d ya manage to get them all to stay in one spot all together to take that picture. The one in the front is an attention hogger, it’s like look at me! I’m sure the other’s will get more than thier fair share from the looks of all that cuteness.
Velcro!
Or maybe duct tape???!!!
Duct tape is like “The Force”: It has a light side, a dark side and it holds everything together
In my neck of the woods, duct tape is called “redneck weld”!!
My motto, if you can’t fix it, duct tape it!!
If it’s moving and it shouldn’t - duct tape
If it should move and it doesn’t - WD40
High five!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah buddy!! Always have both handy at my house!! How could you survive without???
Ditto!
Words to live by… currently in my home, the rshelf rail in my refrigerator door is “duct-taped” to keep it from falling and our condiments from spilling onto the floor EVERYTIME you open the fridge door. This tape-job so distresses my husband that he is adamant about getting a new fridge before any other home improvements…doesn’t bother me!
OMG! I have the freakiest story about that shelf rail falling out of my refrigerator door at my old apartment! Very often, when I would open the fridge door, that stupid shelf would pop out and a few condiments would hit the ground. One day as I was opening up the fridge, my beloved Juliet came running because she thought she was going to get a bite of cheese (think I told you that she LOVED Kraft singles! It got to the point that anytime she heard cellophane rustling she would come running!). Well, the shelf popped off the door and my bottle of Tabasco sauce fell on the floor, cracking the top of the bottle off–Tabasco sauce splashed all over–including into Juliet’s eye!!! So she was trying to run away and hide as I’m chasing her around the house! I finally grabbed her and tried to flush her eye out with water as gently as I could–and of course she was terrified by all the chaos. My poor kitty–I tried to comfort her all night after that!
Oh Dee, how awful for Juliet. Hello and how are you today?
You all are talking about Duct tape and such. My grandpa, used to to say, if you can’t tape it, wire it or glue it, then it can’t be fixed! He oiled the living room clock, one time and put too much oil on it and it ran down the wall. My grandma was not amused. lol
Lady Roo’s litter is so adorable. I would have fun playing with them. Their picture popped up and I was just oohing and awwing! I cannot find the words to express myself completely, about them. They just make you feel good.:) All warm and fuzzy.
The military calls duct tape “100 MPH tape”.
What a freak occurance, Dee. I keep my Tabasco and my Red Hot sauce on that shelf, too. I wasn’t even thinking of the hazard to them as they come running whenEVER I open the fridge door (I keep the nip in the fridge, too) Poor Juliet…I can imagine how concerned you were for her!
Duct tape…”the handyman’s secret weapon!”
and let us not forget the greatest clothesline known to any military person- 550 cord!

Yesterday i was eating a taco with the works including Salsa………so Erwin has a really bad habit of getting on the counter right now……a little of the salsa dripped on the counter, Erwin tred it before i could stop him and well He did what I now call the fuzzbutt salsa dance……….it was such a minute sampling I flushed his mouth with water….. About the duct tape, My husband thinks he is a handy man, sadley he is not handy and I have walked by one of his duct tape specials………….hmmmmm have to hide the duct tape
I do alot of crafting and the best glue bar none is E6000 I have glued metal, wood, plastic, china and things that go in the washer. The only thing it isn’t good for is paper as it too thick. You can find in any craft department I usually get it at Wal Mart. It is clear and dries clear I use it for all my canes.
Windex!!!!! What movie was that from?
My Big Fat Greek Wedding!
I’ve always thought that I could get a lot more accomplished each work day (teaching middle school math) if I was just allowed duct tape and velcro–I’d definitely be on the front page of the newspaper the next day, too!
Hello FondaHonda, Middle school Math HUH? Not for me I will stick with the 2nd to 5th graders. I am subbing right now but, hope for a full time position for August.
How about super glue it is clear they would never see it. Class please take a seat. Evil grin and laugh! No way they would get out of the seat until the bell rings. Oh wait. Make sure you put a spare pair of pants on the items for class. LOL
Cat treats, I bet. Or a toy.
Boy, that’s a lot of kittens :O. Can I have one for my backpack?
Wow! I’m not spam today. So great. The Ides of March must have brought me luck.
Hooray! We’ve missed you. How are you doing? Better?
THAT looks like a whole bunch-o-trouble!!!!
If she wants the attention, she can come home with me. Lots of cuddling and snuggling here. Into my pack she goes!
Now that’s a bunch of bouncing baby kitties! Look at ‘em all!
I must be a very bad girl as Santa never brought me such a wonderful present on Christmas morning.
All I want for Christmas are the two front kittens…
Kittenmaster, thank you very much. The system finally corrected the spam recognition problem. It certainly made my morning.
Long may it continue…
Bowling pins of fur! What fun! How beautiful and cute. Open yer backpax, everybody!
OMG - I am overcome by the cuteness! I have to go lie down in a dark room, but first I’ll just take that cute little guy on the left to snuggle with while I recover!
Good morning all! Now there’s a whole bag of potato cat chips! Ya can’t have just one and nine is just right!! I also want to know how they got these guys to be still all together for this pic!!! Absolute cuteness!!
HEY DEE! Thanks bunches for the cookie recipe, I’ll be making those this weekend for St. Pat’s day!!
Oh–you’re welcome! They are so buttery–great shortbread cookies–and I’ve used different types of nuts, as well. For being so simple, they are a real crowd pleaser….
I am my only crowd, so I’ll let you know if I’m pleased!! ha! ha! ha! If I had nice neighbors I’d share, but they’re not nice, so they won’t be getting any!
Huddy’s Mama will need a suitcase for all these kittens!
Kitten invasion! They’re beautiful.
PURRRR PILE!
Big Pile ‘O Fuzz!!!
WOW! 9 cuties!
“Fellowship of the FUZZ”
Just in case people didn’t see it, Mittens’ owner left a comment explaining how she came to be born in a NASA wind tunnel.
thanks Kittenmaster!
Yes, thank you! That Mittens was one lucky kit!
Wow, how cute!
I’ve got poor Bob sleeping in my desk drawer right now. We just got back from the vet where he had his shot and now he’s totally knocked out. I feel bad for him, but I hope he stays sleepy through the night tonight!
Hey Great Dane, please give little Bob a big ole kitten kiss and a treat for me!!
You got it, LeeAnne! *Bob purrs while sleeping with his head on his tedd bear*
Hope Bob feels better soon. You are lucky to have him with you at work.
Oh that is so cute, Great Dane! Hope you can get a picture of Bob with his teddie bear! Sounds so cute!
I only wish I could bring my girls to work, I’m sure they would like it - though having Misto trying to help me type would probably not be very productive
My Trixie WAS at work when I got her. One of my co-workers found her by the side of a country road on her way to work and brought her in. Trixie was only six weeks old when she was found and it was love at first sight!
My Biscuit came to work with me when I found him. He was only 3 weeks old, and I had to soak his little burnt paws in warm water 3 times a day. He was so pitiful! Now…he’s a spoiled and very healthy BRAT!! Bringing him to work now would be a disaster!!
How did little Biscuit get burnt paws. Please don’t tell me someone abused that little angel!
Little Biscuit was found on a camping trip on Memorial Weekend. The little guy had rode in on a fellow camper’s motorhome’s motor for 3 hours. The couple heard the kitten cries and this guy was going to “flush him out” until LeeAnne was notified of a kitten in distress and ran to these people’s RV and crawled underneath with pieces of ham to coax the little guy out. The kitten was stuck in the frame of the motor home and I got him to poke his little head out to grab some ham and gently squeezed him out. He was so pitiful, ALL his pads were burnt and blistered including his nose and a little spot above his eye and he was COVERED in fleas and dirt. Took him to my camper, washed him off best I could, picked fleas off of him for 2 days, as soon as I got home went straight to my vet and got him on antibiotics and all tests were clear! Hence the name Biscuit, he’s solid black and just looked like a little burnt biscuit when I found him. The vet couldn’t believe he had survived and was able to “hang on” for that long a ride! Biscuit is now a healthy brat and looks amazing. I call him my miniature panther! And that’s his story!!
OH! The vet estimated he was only 2 to 3 weeks old when I found him. I have a picture of him in a margarita glass! That’s how tiny he was!
Beautiful story. Bless you for rescuing your little biscuit! I am glad he’s brought you much joy!
Way to go LeeAnne! Lucky Biscuit cat.

Oh LeeAnne, you are such an angel for rescuing your little Biscuit. Even though he had quite an ordeal, having you for a mama makes up for that. Hugs to you and your Biscuit.
What a great story, LeeAnne! I love it!
Thank you for rescuing that little baby. I would love to see that picture of Biscuit in the martini glass.
Thank god for your being there to rescue your cute Biscuit! I bet you have a very grateful kitty. You are a wonderful person to rescue him!
Oh, what a happy ending for little Biscuit. I hope you’ree spoiling him rotten!
So glad you were there to rescue the little fella! He’s lucky to have a forever home with you!
It’s so nice to hear this story LeeAnne…thank God there are kind people like you who will go above and beyond to rescue a kit (or any animal) in distress!
LeeAnne, what a wonderful story. I can’t remember where I saw it but there is a site asking for rescue stories. If I can find it I’ll post it or maybe someone else can name it.
Your caring enough to craw under a vehicle and the quick thinking to make the rescue happen is definitely good story material. Biscuit’s guardian angel sought you out and I’m sure held him in place til you could get to him.
Yeah, LeeAnne! A cat rescuing hero! Good to have people like you in this world and I’m sure that he finds a way to thank you every day.
Soooooooo happy, little biscuit has a mama now!!!
My Sammy would love to come to work with me…plenty of papers to lay on! “First I’ll lay on this one….then I’ll lay on this one…and then…”
That is so cute. Trixie curled up in my “in-box” a took a nap the day I took her home. I wish I’d had a camera that day.
Hi Great Dane: How are you and Bob doing? Sounds like you are getting along fine with your new acquisition, and I am so envious that you get to bring him to work! I wish I could have a cat at work; I would be so much more productive.
Have a great weekend with Bob!
Hi Kate,
Bob’s VERY sleepy after his shot this morning and he and Teddy are still sleeping in the drawer. He’s going back for another shot in two weeks, but I’m not telling him that!
He does deserve a nice weekend, though, since he’s gone to work with me three days this week. He loves to chase the paper balls, battle the plastic bags and his absolute favorite is some kind of yellow “string” that was wrapped around a box of paper! I brought one home for him and every night when I go to sleep, he plays around with it for hours!
Last night I woke up with him sleeping and purring with his head resting on his front paws on my chin - he was so cute, I didn’t want to move!
Great Dane, I think you sound like a perfect new parent. Bob is very lucky to have found you, smart boy.
Didn’t you say your father was coming for a visit? Is he still there? Hope you are enjoying this special time with him, plus all that good food from home.
Yes, Elene,
my Dad is here. When I don’t bring Bob to work he’s got Dad to play with all day. Dad’s been cooking up a storm: Danish meatballs, Chicken in currysauce etc. Yum!
Oh, and he brought tons of Danish candy over - yum, salty licorice!!!
Awww that sounds so cute Great Dane. You are lucky to have Bob and Bob is lucky to have you. I love it when kitties like to sleep on you. My first cat, Whiskers use to always sleep on my chest. I got her at six weeks so I think she saw me as “mommy”. My current cat Sylvester doesn’t do that and I got him at 11 weeks. I wish Sylvester did it. On the weekends sometimes he will come and curl up under the covers in the “crook” of my arm. I love it when he does that. Love those affectionate kitties.
I love when they do that when they are kittens! Desdemona used to rest her head on my neck/shoulder join, and her tiny kitten body would be tucked in underneath my chin and on my bodice (for lack of a better descriptive word). She’s a very big girl now, so she has modified her position. Now she still sleeps on my pillow, but more beside me than on top.
They are soooo precious when they are babies. I was remembering the kittenhoods of my babies the other day, and sort of longing for that time. I did one rescue in my life (I can’t do it anymore because it is so painful when I have to give the kittens away) and the little girls (3) that I had used to climb up to my shoulders and hide behind my hair - I had very long hair at the time. They were so adorable. I have kitten envy!! Or maybe just Bob envy!
Wow…way to go Lady Roo! 9 little fuzzbutts! So adorable, I just love to snorgle a pile o kittens!

Elene-How is Finn?
Hi Teresa. Thank you for asking. Finn is healthy and neutered and vaccinated as of the 6th. My problem is he will not come out from under the queen bed in the kitten room. His only movement was to exit the carrier he was using for a bed and going down the hall to the kitten room. For 6 days now I have had to lay on the floor and use a flash light to see him. Just checking to see if he is breathing. Never met a cat like him. No curiousity or maybe so feral he’s afraid to move. I know he eats and since 6 of my gang sleep in there all night maybe he comes out when I close the door for the night.
