PufiPufi came to our family last June. He was very small and a bit ill, but the vet did his work and as you can see here he is completely satisfied. He’s taking a nap in his favourite armchair. Today Pufi is nearly a year old, he likes to check every garden in the neighbourhood and fights for his territory with the other cats he comes across.

Don’t tell me I’m the first. Well, in any event, Pufi looks like the finest of fine friends. I hope that he will be neutered so that he will live a long and happy life and won’t bring into the world any number of cats who won’t be as lucky as he is.

Good luck with Pufi. I imagine he’ll be snatched into a number of back packs w.in the hour. There’s never too much love.

Hey TDK’ers..my husband has to have bowel resection surgery on May 9. :-( At least we now have a date for surgery. No cancer yet, but he’s got a benign growth that is growing and has to come out. I’m grateful for any kind thoughts and support you and your kitties would like to offer us. He will be home for about six weeks after the surgery, and our cats will love it! He’s already been home six weeks this year with a slipped disk. Hermes and he began to bond closer when he was home so much and Hermes wanted petting and Mommy wasn’t home (but Daddy was)!

Thoughts and prayers for a safe and fast recovery. My dad went through this thirteen years ago and has been great ever since. So I wish that for your husband! And Hermes will most definetly help speed his recovery. My fuzzbutts loves it when I was home for 8 weeks after knee surgery. They took turns cuddling and purring me back to health every day.

Sincere thoughts for the best of outcomes and recovery for your hubby. Think positive and stay strong. Kitties will love him being close to cuddle with, they always know when your feeling bad and show more love. Or are they just taking advantage of someone staying still to cuddle with. Haven’t quite figured that one out yet.

That’s it! Plus it takes a while to process all the heat absorbed from solar energy, which is why they often have to run around the house with their heavy boots on at night, if they absorbed a bit too much during the day and humans aren’t up and ready to absorb all the fur on their nice work clothing.

    Hi Everybody,
Thanks so much for asking about Bob!!! The vet called me on Firday afternoon, and disgussed things with me. He had just seen Bob on Monday, and said he’d looked well and he didn’t cry out when the vet squshed his kidney area. He said we can do blood and urinary tests, but that he’s probably okay now. I still may do it after I get my paycheck, though. Eventhough the tests are about $250, it would give me some piece of mind.
I kept an eye on Bob all weekend, and didn’t want to leave the house at all, just in case he wasn’t feeling well.
Well, he’s got a great appetite and drinks lots of water and he’s also being very playful. Last night we played with a feather and bell on a stick for an hour and a half before bed - I was the only one taking breaks!!!
I was afraid once he was done with his antibiotics he would feel bad again, but the vet told me that wasn’t likely to happen. He’s been on the antibiotics for almost 2 weeks now and has a few days worth left.
I’ll keep a close eye on him, and let all of you know how the poor little guy’s doing.
Thanks again for all your sweet words, thoughts and prayers, that means so much.
