Willow and Windi

Willow and Windi are litter mates and both were feral kittens. Willow came to us just when we were losing our 18 year old kitty, Bombalurina, to cancer. We thought that we would never have another kitty but Willow won our hearts. She was found in a tree in our back yard when she was five weeks old. She was alone and had a badly broken right rear leg. She had surgery and hasn’t slowed down since. About four months later Windi appeared at a neighbors house. She had been on the streets for five months following her mother around. She was so skinny but extremely affectionate. All it took was one leg rub and she had us! It took a few days for the kittens to learn to co-exist but now they are inseparable. What one doesn’t think of the other one does! We can’t imagine what we were thinking about “no more cats”. Our girls are a huge hit at Halloween, too!
