Benny Grunch
Location: Destrehan, Louisiana, USA

I lost four cats in Hurricane Katrina. Benny Grunch adopted me in January, 2007. Walked into the FEMA trailer where I am now living (will move to “Real” house in three weeks). He talks constantly and has a great personality. My two other cats, Emma and Louis, love him.

Hobbs
Location: Rosemead, California, USA

This is Hobbs. He is a little spitfire, running and ruling around the house. I’m so happy to have him, he is so much fun and a ball of energy. At night his favorite spot is on my lap watching TV as he falls asleep.

Pippi Longstocking
Location: Brooklyn, New York, USA

Pip is three months young! She likes pasta, long walks on the windowsill, and wedging herself between the cushions of the couch when it’s time for her mid-afternoon nap. Also, she really likes to have Play Time at 3:30 in the morning, but that’s another story. The point is, she’s the raddest kitten this side of the universe. Lookit her! She’s slipping through the cracks! She’s goin’ down y’all!

Chubby, Hunter and Ginny
Location: Knightdale, North Carolina, USA

I accepted these babies last week along with Tigger, their brother, and the mommy kitty Keira. They are about three weeks old and were born under a neighbor’s porch with no where to go. I foster kitties so I have taken them in with Mommy Keira. All are very healthy. They are just starting to come out of their shells! All five kitties are extremely affectionate and I’m sure once they are ready, a new home will take pleasure in their personalities!

Adobe
Location: North Highlands, California, USA

I got Adobe for my 25th Birthday…she was the cutest fluffiest little thing! This is her first bed after we brought her home. She has always been the sweetest little girl, cuddly and playful. She has a melodious mew… just like a little bell. Normally cats who are talkers drive me nuts… but she is such a joy to hear. People often comment on the phone “is that your cat? She sounds like an Angel!” She brightens my day when I get off of work by standing at the door and greeting me. I don’t get peace until I have picked her up and loved her!

Abigail
Location: Sacramento, California, USA

This little devil came right up to my front door while I was seeing off guests. I was asked if it was my cat… when I picked her up all I felt was skin and bones. She was covered in fleas, had ear mites and was (apparently) desperate for help. My plan was to feed her, bathe her and find her a new home. That was seven years ago.
This pic was taken after I had her for two weeks. She had already packed on almost half a pound! She currently weighs in at a mere 4 pounds — still a slender petite kitty even though she has an auto-feeder.
Abigail’s likes: Sleeping under the covers, chasing squirrels and roast beef. Dislikes: Bluejays, water, bees, getting stuck in trees while chasing squirrels.
I’m happy to spoil my little Abigail, and love watching her ‘on safari’ in my back yard. Hope you like my funky mischievous calico.

Gracie
Location: Philomath, Oregon, USA

This is our little Gracie, one of Sasha’s kittens. I rescued Sasha, already full term pregnant, from an abandoned duplex in August. Gracie was the last one born and the runt of the litter. Her pretty blue eyes are turning green and she has the sweetest personality. She loves to be cuddled and cooed over and sitting in this bowl is her favorite pastime. Her and her brother, Phillip, will be going to California soon to live with my parents.
