Eric the Brave is a spunky, sweet, and irresistibly delicious little fellow. He was the spunkiest of the three kittens born to a lovely stray we took care of near my office, and I fell in love with him immediately. In no time at all, he was running in circles and doing enormous flips off the couch in his efforts to Catch the Kitty Fishing Pole, and he was snuggling with me on his breaks. He does not meow, he grunts, hence his second name, KittyPig, and he’s mischievous, hence his third, Mr. Freshycakes. He was my first kitten, and he put up with my grumpy cat Flo quite well. I’m nutz for him.

My husband and I rescued three-week-old Purrl from a local shelter, since they were going to put her down for not being weaned. We bottle fed her for a couple of weeks and now, at almost 10 weeks, she’s one of the sweetest and cuddliest cats I’ve ever known. We named her “Purrl” because she starts purring like a lawnmower every time she catches sight of one of her humans.
