Rat
Location: Minneapolis, Kansas, USA

This is a photo of my sweetie-cat Rat. Rat was a failure-to-thrive child that required extra TLC and feeding to grow. She loved to be loved and would snuggle with me for long periods. Unfortunately she died recently, but I have many other “kitty brats” to give me love and affection when I am down-in-the-dumps!!

Ivy’s Kittens
Location: Southborough, Massachusetts, USA

We took in an abandoned mother cat and her five kittens from the Humane Society and fostered them for ten weeks. They would always crowd into this fuzzy cat bed and sleep all cuddled up together. On this day, we were able to get them to all look at the camera at the same time–no small feat!

Tiger & Lily
Location: Pinckney, Michigan, USA

Tiger & Lily are ten weeks old in this picture. We adopted this brother and sister from our local humane society. These rambunctious kittens helped our family get over the loss of our two previously adopted kittens that died of FIP when they were just three months old. In this picture they are basking in the sunlight of our kitchen bay window after a morning of play.

Puffins
Location: Bangalore, India

Puffins, as we lovingly call them, are the first litter of our queen cat, Powder Puff - we haven’t named them individually yet. These cute-hearts have become a big hit in our neighborhood and at my office, and we’ve used up hours of video time capturing their naughty play sessions.

Skittles
Location: Yucaipa, California, U.S.A.

This is Skittles. My daughter and I were at a petshop when we seen him and of course my daughter wanted to hold him. As she was holding him saying “please mommy, can we keep him?”, I noticed that they had the exact same color eyes, and with them both looking at me with those blue eyes I couldn’t say no. Skittles is now a little over a year old and is my best friend.

Lily Rose
Location: Studio City, California, USA

This is Lily Rose at eight weeks old. She was a rescue kitty whose father is a Siamese. I got her as a companion to my 14 year old kitty Mona. Mona, or course, wants nothing to do with her. But Lily Rose quickly made friends with my old lady rottweiler, Bettie and my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Isis. She is a wonderful kitty who follows me everywhere. She loves walking on the computer and sitting on the printer. She thinks she’s my secretary. Now if she could only take a message.

Theo
Location: New York, New York, USA

Theo is my little Siamese baby, and a wonderful companion. The runt of his brothers and sisters, he loves to sit at the window and look dreamy. He’s a bit older now (this picture was taken when he was about a month old) but to me, he’ll always be this large-eyed, big-eared, ball of peach fuzz.
