I took this picture of little Simon just after driving him all the way from the no-kill shelter in CT where I volunteer to my parents’ home in PA. He cried when we put him in the car, but as soon as my mom wrapped him up in her coat and cradled him, he went right to sleep. He’s now almost 5 months old, and quite the mischief maker, but it’s impossible to be angry at him because he’s just such a sweetheart!
