Gabby
Location: Manitowoc, Wisconsin, USA

This is my most recent kitten named Gabby. I named her Gabby because she’s a Tabby… Gabby the Tabby. But she has earned her name, she’s a very talkative girl! Gabby is the youngest of three fur babies… My oldest is a fat medium-hair calico named Daisy (she’s 4 1/2) the middle is my only boy and he’s named Salty (he’ll be 4 in April) and then the Gabby-monster, as she’s so frequently called because she’s so naughty! This picture was taken either the 1st or 2nd day we had her home, and she was playing with this toy mouse that was almost as big as her head. She sure was a fiesty one right from the start, and still is, even though she’s almost 1 1/2! I had gotten Gabby about six months after having to put down my cat, Sassy, who ended up in renal failure quite by surprise, and she was only 11 1/2, so I had expected (hoped) that I would have her for a few more years, at the very least. Even though I had my two other “kids” I still missed Sassy terribly because I had her for almost eight years, and my Gabby-monster has helped fill that void. I still miss Sassy occasionally, but I never have a dull moment with my brood that I have now, that’s for certain! Gabby’s favorite things to do are climb under the blankets at night (I’ve never had an “under the blanket” sleeper before, she’s my first!), pester her older brother and sister (*especially* her brother), climb on my shoulder when I’m on the computer (which is where she is now!) and she “begs” when she wants food or attention or both… standing on her hind legs and kind of waving her front paws, just like a dog! Sorry I got so long winded, but as you can tell, I love my babies SO much!

Cookie and Fuzzy
Location: Palo Alto, California, USA

This is Cookie and Fuzzy when they were still tiny, with little round ears and little tiny tails sticking straight up, just beginning to be able to walk around a bit but mostly napping all the time. Now they are eight months old, running up and down trees, but still just as sweet as the day they were born. I love them!

Pip
Location: Stratford, Prince Edward Island, Canada

This is Pip. He was about three months old in this picture. Now he is a year and a half and loves to torture his older brother Angel. The reason for his name is when he meows he sounds like a pip squeak. He loves to cuddle and play with toys. He’s my little baby boy.
-
Coco
Location: Oregon, Wisconsin, USA

This is my baby Coco. She is about four weeks old in this picture. She had been abandoned and when we saw her we could not live without her. Coco loves to play fetch and tag. She is always there to greet you when you come home. Coco is so sweet!

Stevie
Location: Marietta, Georgia, USA

Stevie came to us in a litter of orphans that had been discarded in a box, found in a dumpster. They were ill and full of fleas, so after a warm bottle, he had his first bath and dried off on our sun-porch. He was only two weeks old. When the day came for the Adoption Fair for the rescue agency we Fostered orphans for, he was just too sweet and smart to part with. He is now four years old, but still drinks water from his baby bottle!

Meow
Location: Cochran, Georgia, USA

This is Meow, our newest addition. His name is most often pronounced “Mrow”, which is how our daughter says it. We rescued him as a very young kitten, and he became our daughter’s reward for giving up her pacifier. He’s very loving and patient. His rescue story was funny. He had been put out with several kittens at a neighbor’s house. We tried to catch the kittens, but you know how fast they can be. We caught Meow and placed him in a little box. We said goodbye to our neighbors, and were were sad to see that the box came open during our chat. As we got back in the car, I consoled my daughter, telling her we could try again to catch him later. She giggled as soon as we got in the back seat…There was Meow, sitting in her carseat! We had left the car door open in our excitement of finding kittens!
