Does anyone have a really good Chicken Tetrazzini recipe they could share?
I have a few that I have printed off the internet but not sure which one I would want to use. This is what I am planning to have for Christmas and I need to feed about 25 people. I also thought of serving a green salad and hot rolls. Any suggestions for side dishes that would work with it.
Thanks!!

It may seem early for some, but I am in need of some help. My dad, the chef, is coming for Thanksgiving dinner! I am in a panic--okay panic is a bit strong, but I certainly feel the stress! I could use all those favorite recipes you have for traditional Thanksgiving fare!! The more recipes the better--than I can figure out what I can actually accomplish.

THANK YOU!!

The Pasta Diet and Your Health

ITALIAN PASTA DIET -- IT REALLY WORKS !!

1.. You walka pasta da bakery.

2.. You walka pasta da candy store.

3.. You walka pasta da Ice Cream shop.

4.. You walka pasta da table and fridge.

You will lose weight!

AND....

CONCERNED ABOUT TOO MANY CARBS IN YOUR DIET?

For those of you who watch what you eat,
here's the final word on nutrition and health.
It's a relief to know the truth
after all those conflicting
nutritional studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat
and suffer fewer heart attacks than
Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

CONCLUSION

Eat and drink what you like.
Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

I've mentioned how delicious Rabitos are...figs infused with brandy and chocolate mousse and covered in dark-chocolate from Spain. They are on sale, $17.95 for 16 bon bons. They are worth the money (for a nice holiday treat once a year) and definitely worth the calories!

Good evening, everyone!

Well, I don't know about you, but I really don't want to gain the requisite twelve pounds between now and the new year! So maybe we won't lose weight but I think a good goal is not to gain any this coming holiday season.

I really need to get back on the bandwagon and I do so much better with support. I can't always check in these days but I will try (and I've heard rumblings at work they may allow lunchtime internet surfing again...yay!)

You have all been such an inspiration and help to me in the past and I, for one, need a place to be accountable without being beat up, and this is the place...big smile.

So.... I am committing to getting to my new gym 2-3 times a week (more if I can) and walking at lunch time again, whether my walking buddy joins me or not. I commit to not wasting good food in my fridge. That's about all I can handle at the moment.

What about the rest of you?

Happy Caturday Family! Hope it finds you well. Today the kittehs are setting up a simple continental breakfast as business is usually slow on Caturday's. Just pasteries, bagels, donuts, fruit, and yogurt. All the normal drinks. I am anxiously awaiting my sister, "Hazel" (lol), to arrive with her bottle of bleach for her cleaning session. She was to be here between 530 and 600am. She has three minutes to get here or I am laying back down. I am pooped! Have a great Caturday!

This sounds so yummy!

The bacon keeps the chicken white meat moist while the orange marmalade makes a delightful contrast to the smoky flavor of the bacon. Fast and easy to put together, this chicken dish bakes in less than 30 minutes.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients:
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
Salt and freshly ground pepper
6 slices bacon
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup orange marmalade
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 375 F. Line a shallow baking pan with non-stick foil. (Omit foil and reduce temperature by 25 degrees if using a glass baking dish.)

Sprinkle each chicken breast evenly with poultry seasoning, then season generously with salt and pepper. Wrap each chicken breast with one slice of bacon and place in baking pan with bacon ends tucked under.

Melt together butter, Worcestershire sauce, and orange marmalade in the microwave for about 45 seconds on high. Stir until combined. Pour evenly over bacon-wrapped chicken breasts.

Happy Veteran's Day to one and all! Let's not forget who this day is about, our brave men and women of the military. God Bless them all! Kitties are all dressed in their finest red, white and blue. The cafe is set up and decorated in red, white and blue. There are yummies on the buffet today from Cracker Barrel as well as homemade cupcakes decorated in red, white and blue icing and sprinkles (made by those crazy Meezers!). Come join us and share your military stories or words of thanks. Also, if you know someone in the military or who is a vet, Applebee's is offering a free meal to them today!

Me, I am the daughter of an Army medical researcher. Worked in the top secret labs and went to his grave NEVER EVER telling us what he did. He was in six years and proud of it. I know my family goes all the way back to the civil war in the army and I am proud of it! I want to thank all those who have served, who are serving and who will one day serve this country. You are true heros in my book!

Happy Tuesday one and all! Its another day, I am closer to surgery, and things are slowly looking up! I have enough vacation time to have surgery and not worry about no $$$ coming in. Spoke with the Physician Assistant last night and we talked a long time. It was kinda weird cause we talked like two friends not doctor patient. He was so sorry about this second surgery and because this is such a "rare" situation he is the "lead" on this and will be following me and checking in on me (of course under the supervision of the NS). He said he will be calling me at home checking in on me and documenting symptoms, recovery and ultimately outcome. Because my dad died of sedation to keep him still after surgery they are NOT going to sedate me but keep me comfy. I will be in ICU my whole hospital stay.

In that vein, let's celebrate. I have good news, Bobby is back and our family continues to grow and get closer/stronger here on TDK. For all of that I am thankful! Today the kittehs are making pancakes, waffles, crepes, omelets, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, yogurt, fruit and drinks. They had a special delivery of lemon donuts for KK! Grab breakfast to go or join us for a little visit. Hope your Tuesday is well!

Did anyone just see these products on The Today Show? YAY for salt!

And an interesting article about salt:
Our bodies may equate salty tastes with more smiles

I just adopted a 7 year old ragdoll. I wondering what food would be best for her since her coat is long and very thick. What will give her the proper nourishment and also give her a great looking coat?
