Hi, Sadri, no, that's a problem. She may not feel like it now because of the antibiotics but if she goes for more than a day refusing to eat and drink, then that means that there might be a blockage somewhere and at the very least, she runs the risk of getting dehydrated. If she's not taking food or drink, then I would be seriously thinking about the vet again. There is a credit care card that you can apply for, to help with paying for her care, you can ask the vet about a payment plan, you can ring around vets to see if you can find a cheaper one and you can look up low-cost vets in your area. These links might help.

My older sister and I took her to the vet yesterday at midnight and the vet said that she may have eaten a "foreign" body or something and he also said that she may need an x-ray to see in her intestine but that costs over $500! So I'm giving her anti boitics now like the doctor prescribed. Im just praying she'll get better soon! Well thanks for the advice I really appreciate it.😊 Wish us the best!

I'm sure the birds have no idea :)
Comet likes to catch the feather on a pole. When he does, he gets shifty eyed, and struts away with it...with me following, pole in hand. Then he sits and puts it down and IMMEDIATELY puts his paw on it!
A lifetime ago, Smokie came strutting up the driveway with a huge blue jay in her mouth. We were hanging outside, and she joined us, putting the bird down and a paw on it. Then she got a bit too relaxed, the bird jumped, squawked in her ear and flew to a branch overhead! Bird=1, Cat=0

oh we definitely play with them, we even got a new toy for them to play with, they love playing with it especially cause it came with cat nip but he has just been wanting to take a nap, i think spaz's problem is that he misses the camp site we took him to about a week or 2 ago, but its been to cold to go camping again. spaz has been playing outside all day today so thats a good sign its red thing now who wants to stay in and watch tv, we have been watching planet earth, he will actually sit there and watch it with us. he loves when the puma killed its pray, his inner big cat was showing lol.

We were told that the only way to definatively diagnsoe it is through a spinal tap and MRI and given the severity of Luigi's symptoms and his rapid decline there would be no hope in saving him. I wasn't present at the earlier vet visits but beleive that the blood tests did not show anything earlier and that was before he developed any symptoms other than the cloudy eye. I really miss our little Weegi so much.

You need to take her to the vet, please. It sounds like she might have eaten something bad.

Also, has she been vaccinated against Rabies? (assuming you are in an area with Rabies) You want to make sure that she doesn't have Rabies, otherwise you are putting yourself at risk. Foaming at the mouth is a classic sign of Rabies.

I thought that the vet could run a tighter test to check to see if a cat has been exposed to FIP? It has been along time since I have had to deal with FIP. I am happy to read stubbys mom's post about an animal actually living with it. Thats the beginning of figuring out how to treat it.

The most unscented litter I've found yet is Petsmart's house brand, ExquisiCat litter. I use the unscented non-clumping clay litter. It is inexpensive, works very well, has no scent to it at all. I don't know about the clumping version but if it is half as good as the regular clay litter it might be worth a try also. Just be careful if you buy some and be sure you get the unscented version as they also sell one that is perfumed.

I have three cats with medical problems that have them peeing and pooping more than average. As long as I keep the solid waste removed several times each day and the litter thoroughly stirred up so it doesn't form a soggy bottome layer, I don't have any odor problem from the litter until it is very soaked and needing changing.

Kensho & Jasmine sometimes sleep adjoining each other, during the daytime. At night they take up different sections of my legs, usually on opposite sides. Amber, who is a relative newbie, has started to sleep on the bed at night, but she keeps to herself and doesn't seek heat transfer. Nonetheless it has been great that she has FINALLY started, only in the last month, to sleep on the bed at night.
