But during the weekend, I was distracted by a painful shoulder/neck (I still do not know what I did to cause it), and I forgot about work until Tuesday when a lady called wanting to set up an appointment for housecleaning. So I called Teresa right away and left a message on her voice mail with the info and asked her to call me with the schedule. I was certain that there were two jobs on Wednesday and I wanted to work them, but I had no way of knowing for sure because Teresa has the schedule and never has her book with her when we work together.</p> <p>Well, I called again yesterday afternoon asking about work today because I still had not heard from Teresa. Finally - at 11:30 at night (which is after the time I usually go to bed now that school has started) Teresa calls me and leaves a message on my voice mail telling me to call her if I want to work this morning. Of course I want to work this morning!!!! So I call her back and find out that there were two houses yesterday that I did not get to clean because that IDIOT did not call me!! So I lose $20 because I have to pay the employee to do the job that I WANTED TO DO!!!! (yes, I am very angry right now and trying to get this out of my system before I have to meet that idiot for work today).</p> <p>I blew up at her on the phone about being screwed out of two jobs and nearly losing another. When I said, "Of course I want to work the job tomorrow. I always work that job." The idiot's reply was, "I didn't know." How could she not know when I made sure to tell her that I scheduled my classes in such a way that I wouldn't have to miss any work?!!!</p> <p>Teresa's excuse for not calling with the schedule? "I forgot." </p> <p>*takes a moment to compose herself*</p> <p>The funny part of this whole mess is that the dumb *** didn't get her messages because she left her phone at the house she cleaned on Tuesday! So idiot has no phone of her own until she goes back to the place tomorrow! I would laugh myself silly if she wound up losing that phone for good. It would serve her right for not giving me the opportunity to work the two jobs yesterday and for almost making me miss the one today because she called so late. What if I had been asleep and didn't hear the cell phone ringing? What if I didn't get the message until it was too late to work? </p> <p>*takes another deep breath*</p> <p>Speaking of work, I better go now. *sighs* I so don't want to see Teresa's face today.</p> <p>If jobs weren't so scarce and so many people weren't getting laid off, I swear I would be looking for another job right now.
