When they sent the new one they obviously assumed it was for a new kitchen, not an existing one and left out some bits that we needed to re-integrate it. We (well I) decided we shouldn't give each other gifts as we just had to replace the dishwasher. Apparently the 'official' gift for a 17th wedding anniversary is furniture so I figured a dishwasher counts as furniture. The new one is pretty much just furniture at the moment as we still haven't got it working - waiting on some parts they left out! </p>
