I get tired all over thinking about it ! Tile guys did the work 9/20 and 21 - then it was wait for help to move the stove - and THEN finding it didn't fit. And start calling the tile guys. So it's been a long drawn out saga. My husband does carpentry(not tile)but he has names of many happy customers willing to talk to or show people his work if they are considering hiring him. He is also liscensed but that doesn't always mean the work will be what you like. You'll probably never hire anyone from Craigslist again but if they can at least show you some examples of their work you may get good results. I pointed out all the issues. They stayed long enough to fix the opening for the stove (had to remove and replace 4 tiles and Mikita (grind down) 4 others) and moved in my stove. Will need electician friend this weekend .. she'll move or invert the outlet so stove can be moved closer to the wall - and then we'll level it. Tile guys will be back on a Saturday to make all the other repairs. I should be cooking by Saturday !</p> <p>Thank you all for the hugs, prayers and suggestions.
