It's 10.30p.m. NZ time, no activity here for 5 hours, can you even imagine that...the night is damp here in NZ and probably colder in AZ with Old Man Winter getting comfortable..... so time to close Night Shift and snuggle under the comforters, so here goes gratis AZDEBRA, LV, & Tigger begin....good job everyone & bless you...

check - sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)
check - lights off and turns out neon "TDK Night-Shift" and "Poetry Jam" sign in window
check - night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check - cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly
check - doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don't come to us with complaints
check - dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Box

check - windows shut for Northern and Southern TDKers, the weather is so unpredictable in the in-between seasons.

Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Airy and Jim-man. White light, healing energy and prayer for all those in need.
Goodnight and peaceful sleep Ron.

The cat show sounds like you at least got to see some different breeds. Max will appreciate the toys! Sorry about some of the breeders--hard to sell a cat if you are snotty.

I am stuffed and think I am going to toddle off to bed. Tomorrow will be a long day.

Tigerlily he is doing well! We have decided it was just an iron deficent anemia! So we are treating him and about every 2-4 weeks he goes in and for another cbc to make sure he is still producing red blood cell's with the help of the predizone and then hopefully wean him off it completely then just keep giving him his iron supplement!

Don't mean to be rude but this is my second cfa cat show the exibitors are a bit snooty! And some wont talk to you or they way you see them handle they babies make you think they are only in it for money and bragging rights the money comes from the kittens of course!

But Karin and I got real lucky 3 actually stopped and spoke with us about their babies and breeds!

One was a nice woman on her way to a show ring with a gorgous boy japanese bobtail odd eye. He was so cute and well tny heheheh!

Another was a Egypatian Mau breeder. He breeds the Bronze Mau which I was unaware of. I knew Mau's came in Silver and smoke but now I know they also come in bronze hehehe!

Then their was a lady with an American shorthair named THe Fuzz heheh ginger classic pattern!

But my fav was the coonie breeder! She had 3 5 month old babies showing! One cream with white mae and two tiny silver patched with white tabbies and the three are siblings. She walked over to a ring judging coonies and broke it down for us! Thar was so nice of her!

AZ, I don't know the history of your headaches, but with persistent migraines, it is worth checking in with a neurologist at least once a year. Also, at 54, hormone issues don't help and maybe that aspect could be addressed.
The other thing I'll throw out there, because there are scattered reports on this, if you take in a lot of nutrasweet products (anything with aspartame) try to get rid of it in your diet for a month or so and see if it makes any difference.

The longest I have had a headache to last is 3 to 4 days...seems like I have had them since I was a kid. The propranalol? is what they said that I might need since I have started waking up with them. Suppose to go back to doc and not done it but got my last prescription filled Wed. so will have to now. I smypathize for you!

Hubby came through the door whimpering for food. He has been the only one manning the shop. They are losing people to another compay--they even interviewed him. They offer a bit more money but no security. Have to wait and see what happens. Anyway I have to go and feed the crew. I roasted a chicken!

jcat, I have some decent migraine meds, have actually taken just about the full range of meds avail with the doc's trying to see what works on me...Imitrex is about the quickest for me, actually the nasal spray followed by the pill doseage...can't do the shots, especially by myself because I wake up in the middle of full-blown headaches.

Deb..have you tried Relpax for your headaches? That is what I take and most of the time it really helps. Ever once in awhile I end up having a really bad headache. I can usually tell if I am going to get one and I can take the pills...the only time it doesn't work is if I wake up with one.

jcat, I am so tired of seeing the doctor about my headaches, I just suffer thru them mostly, take my Imitrex and ibuprofen ice pack for 20 minutes lying in a dark room and hope that it works. Haven't tried the newest migraine med yet but its basically the same thing as what I am doing now but in one pill. Keep hoping that I will grow out of them (the headaches), but kinda thinking now that if I haven't done it in 54 yrs it probably ain't gonna happen, lol.

Tigerlillie, that is such a sad story. Thank goodness that beautiful cat found you. Don't you ever feel guilty about your beautiful Scottish fold kitten when you have done such wonderful things for your cats! Cute Linda is a lovely name, even if he is a boy!
