I had a big old red knit cap on and looked kind of like a giant yellow smurf! It was loads of fun; everybody was really nice and pumped up about the whole thing; plus alot of tourists came over whilst we were setting up and took pics; said hi.etc...really nice holiday feeling out of the whole thing! I'm a born and bred New Yorker, but my first time doing anything like this..(the next thing on my list is "running" the NYC Marathon..notice the quote marks!! But I'll do it one day, by golly!
