He's still on the slender side, but for a long time I haven't been able to feel any of his bones when I pet him. I've just updated his Catster page to capture his current routines and interests, which include games of chase with Penny. These games started with Gabe chasing Penny from the bedroom to the living room and Penny chasing Gabe back into the bedroom, but lately they've gotten quite complex. In celebration of the occasion, I bought some special wet food in pouches for a purrday luncheon. Everyone enjoyed the treat tremendously; not a bite was left in the bowls, which is unusual even with canned food.</p> <p>After the luncheon, Mr. Leeny and I went out for several hours. When we returned home, I found another surprise--a pile of poop on the lounge chair where I sit in the living room! After putting the coverlet in the washing machine, I cleaned the litter boxes. Neither one was all that dirty, but Gabe's was low on litter. I don't know if the surprise was a signal from him to buy more litter or if the luncheon did not sit well on someone's stomach. Someone was obviously trying to get my attention, though. I will be sure to buy litter on the way home tonight. </p>
