I can take my Prilosec and psych meds with a sip of water in the morning. I'm supposed to arrive at the hospital at 1:30 tomorrow afternoon, and, because the surgery is going to be done relatively late in the day, some folks think they might go on and keep me in the hospital overnight. A couple of people were concerned that I'd have to go without eating for so long, but eating really hasn't been high on my list of things to do these days.</p> <p>Because I don't have a computer at home, I won't be able to update you until I return to my office sometime next week. The last thing I'm going to do before shutting down here, though, will be to print out this thread so I can read it over and soak up all of your good wishes. But you want to hear something cool? After my mom had hers out she was waiting for tests one day and heard two women talking behind her. One asked how the other was doing after having her gall bladder removed and the first one replied that she hadn't had any migraines since then. So glad to hear you didn't have to have another round of tests, I know those GI series are horrible. Had my gall bladder removed when I was 20 years old. Doctors kept treating me for ulcers because no one so young and slim could have a bad gall bladder. An ulcer diet is almost the exact opposite of a diet for malfunctioning gall bladder. Finally after losing 25 pounds, and being in horrible pain for a long time, they decided to test. Shocked everyone.
