Shiva loves to wake me up by meowing at the door at around 6:00 every morning whether I have to get up for school or not. With the door closed, I can ignore her. At most, she will hop on the bed, maybe meow once, quietly, come up to look at my face to see if I might be awake. At this point, I will usually say, 'Hi Sweetie', and give her a little stroke and then go back to sleep. She will then just lie down and go to sleep as well!</p> <p>She did wake me up one time, though! I was sleeping very, very late. My hubby had already gotten up and fed Tikka, so she wasn't hungry or anything. She came into the bedroom and just gave one really loud, really emphatic MEOW, and then just left! It was as if she was saying 'Get UP, you lazy cow!'
