Hi EdwardnAlice! Welcome to the Daily Kitten. Thank God you took in this poor little girl, I think that's wonderful. That makes you an Angel in my book! My best advice is to try an take her in to see the vet and if that's out of the question, there are many here with VERY sound advise and much EXPERIENCE. Prayers to little Alice.

Visit to the vet to check anyways, maybe baby food (liver, beef, chicken) without onion in it, depending on how young the KMR (baby milk alternative for kittens). Alice sounds like a lucky little girl, and you are a caring mum to her and Edward. For other tips try www.petplace.com under the cat/kitten pull-down, they are full of wonderful advice on our furry ones.

There are wonderful folk here who can probably offer more thorough advice, Alice, but maybe you want to try a little Pedialyte from the local grocery. Sleeping is very normal for cats, more so for kittens.

Lots of love, keeping her warm, and trying some pedialyte might be good.

Yesterday morning my fiance found a little kitten, all dirty and gunky, outside our apartment. he brought her in to me and she's skinny as a rail, seems to have a URI, and doesn't want to eat drink or do anything but sleep! Her name is Alice. Edward is my other kitty, who is a bit jealous, but thats to be expected. I washed most of the dirt off, cleaned her eyes and nose, I've tried force feeding her and squirted water down her throat. she doesn't seem to be getting any better. Any advice??
