Very frustrating.</p> <p>On the flipside, I will always remember how I got the last book. Mr. K and I were flying to Amsterdam the night the book was released, to board a cruise ship. I had been madly trying to figure out how to get my hands on the book, with no luck. When we landed in Amsterdam, Mr. K left me alone briefly to visit the Gents, and when he came back he said "that store, over there, it's by the register and it says Harry Potter". I was mad about Hedwig, and wondered about Crookshanks! (I suppose she was at the Burrow) I thought it seemed to wrap things up pretty well, although it would have been nice to enhance the epilogue to include the parent's day at Hogwarts, so we could see some reunions and find out what happened to the teachers who were there when we saw them last. Remind me not to read She's Come Undone. The book was a tough read and I did have to make myself take breaks, especially when re-canting the events of April 20; although many miles away, I was working in a high school that day, which is almost as vivid to me as 9/11.<br /> I decided to read the Harry Potter series. Started last fall and just finished the last one the other day. I will read The Hour I First Believed for January 1st. I also picked up a Warriors book called Cats of the Clans. It is a bio of each of the cat leaders and their clan. It is a good way to know the Warrior cats before reading their story. It also has beautiful illustrations. And for background music I found a cd called Songs Of The Cat. The songs are all about cats, I put it on quietly while I read about the Warrior cat clans. Dashing Through The Snow was a terrific holiday suspense story.
