Hi. My name is Rosa. I been a kitty lover since I was 5 years old. My first cat was a stray adult female cat. The neighborhood I lived in had an old woman who fed every stray cat that came her way. So obviously there was alot of cats in the neighborhood. Some decided to stay and sleep on my moms couch on the porch. I remember tryin to catch one so I could keep it but they would all run away. Finally there was one who didn't run away. She wasn't scared, or didnt hiss at me. She let me hold and pet her. I named her Simon. But thats cause I didnt know she was a girl. I actually didnt find out Simon was a girl till she had babies one day! She was a good kitty. Eventually the old woman with all the strays died. And all these cats started to come to our yard. And i would feed all of them! I can't believe no one called the humane society on us. We weren't abusive but there was so many. I remember having names for 26 cats at one point!! Simon was an awesome cat though. Alot of the female cats would abonded their kittens. Even if we didnt touch their babies. But Simon would go and feed them. I was so sad when she finally died. I think I was 12 when she died. By that time someone did call Animal control and alot got taken away. They were all out door cats in case you didn't figure that out already.=)

Ive had alot of great cats since then. I got Matty almost a year ago. At first I didn't know she was a girl so her original name was Matthew. My son name her. The old woman who gave her to me said it was a boy and I went home and never bothered checking. I just assumed the old lady knew what she was talkin about. A month after having her I was rubbin her belly and felt nipples!! I finally decide to take a look. And what do you know! Matthews a girl! So now we call her Matty short for Matilda=)

This cat is my 3rd indoor only cat for me. The first 2 that i had died. Preston got sick and his legs went paralyzed one day and the vet said he would have to do exploratory surgery to find out what was happening to him so i had to put him to sleep cause it was too costly for me.

My second, Jubilee was the greatest! She only lived to be 1 year old. She too got sick. Its too gross to say what happened to her but I did try the surgery with this cat cause I couldn't bear to see her go but it was hopeless and she too had to be put to sleep. The kids and I were so sad.

I hope I have better luck with this kitty.

Aside from cats, Im a stay at home mom and I have 3 kids. My oldest is Noah, hes gonna be 9 in April, next is Erica whos gonna turn 8 March 23rd, and my baby Jacob who turned 4 in december. I been married for nearly 10 years now. My husband is a web designer and he came from a family who had lots of varieties of animals, so we both love animals alot.

I was thinking of gettin a dog but I decided that would have to wait till I have more free time. I take care of my mom alot. She went blind from glaucoma from the diabetes. She also moved into a new house and needs help fiding her way around till she gets used to it. So my days are busy. Id take the dog with me but my mom is afraid of dogs so there goes that idea. So we'll just wait and see.

So okay, thats it. I don't know what else to say lol HI EVERYONE!!=)
