Oh heaven's yes! Sorry about the delay, this awful head of mine is killing me. I have all three of the books that go with the Serpeant's Tail so I have them if it piques my interest. Now let me go find that book I was wanting to recommend.........

MC...it is a series but here is what SM wrote about the book.

MC I made the suggestion. Her first book has nothing to do with The Mistress of the Art of Death which is the first book that introduces the characters in The Serpent's Tale. The Serpent's Tale does not have to be read after The Mistress of the Art of Death. Ariana Franklin wrote the books to stand on their own. You can read the others if you chose, but it is not necessary. It is similar to reading Agatha Christie. You do not have to read them in order, each case stands on its own.

Again Ariana Franklin has created a set of characters used in other stories, but you DO NOT have to read The Mistrss of the Art of Death. Also if you like the book she has another coming later this year Grave Goods!

So as SM states...The Mistress of the Art of Death just introduces you to the characters in The Serpent's Tale but the story stands alone. I usually don't read books like this so I am very excited in trying something different. I planned on reading this one and if I like it go back and read the other one. So far it has been very interesting!!!

Thanks, ILMC. Is this a book in a series? There are two other books that are mentioned with this book, one before and one after. Just checking so I get the right book. Thanks
