Its funny you mention OTC snake oil sleep med, I even have tried the Wally World brand of sleep med (little blue gel looking capsule) because it doesn't leave that drugged out feeling when I wake up a couple of hours later. I too have no problem falling asleep, its the staying asleep thats the problem. Tried the benadryl for sleep aid too, it works half the time if I am dead tired and haven't really slept for a couple of days. Would just love to sleep enough to get to REM so maybe, just maybe I would have enough sleep to feel rested. I have a new routine that works semi-well. At bedtime I take an OTC snake oil sleep med. And generally fall asleep within minutes. But, I wake up two hours later. If it is before 2:00 am, I take one benadryl. If it's after 2:00 am, it's too close to time to get up since my alarm goes off at 5:OO am. But my book group here is reading a book that is an insomniac's dream! It is The Forgotten Man, which is the story (it's like reading an economics book) of what exactly lead up to The Great Depression. It isn't that the book isn't interesting, because it is. But it is reading someone's doctoral thesis. I can usually read two paragraphs and I'm gone. The place I work for has a strict dress code. Button down shirts, no logos, t shirts are ok for me in the warehouse but nothing on them. So my Tye dye will be worn on weekends or nights! No, not my ty dyes!!!!! Ok, now, I have to go out and bye plain t shirts for the summer, no shorts either. My summer wardrobe is now down to nothing! I like camo, ty dye, and have no offensive shirts, but now I will be lucky to see my tees once this summer! I understand the company, just never thought it would be like this. Guess this is a conservative company!! I understand though, if I wear a tye dye so to speak, someone in the office will want to know why they can't. So off to the store this weekend to be properly dressed, but the weekends will be all about me!!!!!!!!! Camo and tye dye, on alternate days!! </p>
