My daughter is in Relay for Life--although linked to breast cancer it isn't the only type. The kids made a banner for those that they wanted to honor and walk in memory of. My daughter wanted to add Sharon's name. Her section of the banner has not only the members of our family we have lost to cancer, but to friends as well.
