Thanks, all... Talked to the vet finally about 20 of 9. The very good news is that he is doing very well... all the things we wanted to happen, did... I will need to give him sub q fluids from now on and a shot to help him make red blood cells, but he comes home this afternoon!!!

Man... I wish I had read this on Monday. I took Knucklehead in for the fluid therapy on Monday evening, was told to call after three on Tuesday. I called, they told me the vet was with another patient and would call me back as soon as she was done. I called again after 5, was told that the vet suggested keeping the kitty another night and that she would call me as soon as she was available. It is now 0725 Wednesday and I have not heard from the vet. I called again last night at 1930, got a machine that didn't take messages. I went to the office, just down the street from me, but no one answered my knock. We are all extremely upset... my hubby even dreamed about it... I am calling at 0800, when they open and will be camping in the office after work..... this is unprofessional at best.... AND I got really good vibes from the vet, so I am entirely at 6's and 7's.

I use my sixth sense with vets. Unfortunately, sometimes it's after a pet visit or procedure.
Thanks for the article BMM
