Later on we got another thunder storm with more hail, thankfully I missed it by minutes but saw the hail piled up beside the roads. I saw one car spin out on the icy roads. Tomorrow looks like being a half reasonable day. I see you also had a sweet surprise in the mail today. Hail on the beach and people snowboarding by the sea. It was just plain horrible here today but in a very ordinary way. No flies on Libby, I was driven to finally turning the nightstore heater on and I got her winter basket with her favourite sheepskin out of storage and placed it by the heater -- and that's where she spent the evening! Jasper spent it on the couch -- as usual -- on top of two duvets... (I was underneath the duvets, hee hee. We had a thunder storm this morning and some areas got so much hail that there has been serious flooding and a large shopping centre has been evacuated. Also have heard it may have been hit by a mini tornado but nothing confirmed yet. Now the sun is shining and everything is steaming, but the temperature outside is still pretty chilly. i have a large pot of soup cooking gently on top of my fireplace. I can't stay as I have to help Mum take her old cat Mitzi to the vet, she has a lump on top of her head that she has bumped and caused to bleed.
