It doesn't do her much good to get discharged with the order, then have to wait 2 days for someone to call and schedule an initial visit which occurs two days after that. For example, the risk of serious infection is actually less at home than in the hospital, and with brain surgery this is a hugely important issue. She sounds WONDERFUL..her voice is very strong, she feels pretty good. The surgeon came in this morning and told her she could possibly go home TOMORROW!! She is very happy about that. She is handling the pain okay..and she should see results with her headaches and feet in a few weeks once the incision starts healing. I told her that she has lots of hugs from TDK and we love her and are thinking and praying for her. She does remember vaguely that Julie was there yesterday, she says she was pretty out of it but she does have a beautiful little package from Julie, so she knows she was there..lol<br /> So people on the call list she is in room 397 bed A...she might be going home tomorrow so you will have to call her cell phone :)<br /> Yeah!!!! Such good news for our girl. I told her she had so many worries and was so nervous and look how good the surgery turned out. </p>
