Kitten Master has asked us not to discuss declawing on this website. People feel quite strongly in favor of and against declawing. Ultimately, you have to make the best decision for yourself. You might want to do some research about this topic online. If you do declaw your cat, please don't let it go outside. Immediately, he removed the bandage and has been licking at it, but my biggest problem is that my other cat is now terrorizing him quite visciously. First she seemed as though she didn't recognize him and was crouching, then she started hissing almost constantly. Now (about 2 hours later) she is swatting, hissing, chasing, pouncing and it *looks* and sounds as though she is NOT playing.</p> <p>Some background in case it helps give me advice:<br /> Cat A: almost 10, indoor his whole life, perfect health.<br /> Cat B: 3 years old, indoor her whole life and now - just acquired her back in October 2008.</p> <p>Of course, there was an adjustment when she first came, but they seemed to settle nicely. They tumble around often, but he was clearly dominant and would back off to a point. They both sleep with me, near each other, but don't cuddle and they follow me around like dogs. They stand next to each gazing out the patio door . . .</p> <p>So, I'm wondering what could be going on here. Is it just because he is "wounded"? Does she smell the blood on his injury and it's making her INSANE? </p> <p>Any help is appreciated - husband, myself &#38; teen are supposed to gone all day tomorrow and I'm super worried that there will be a throw down. </p>
