And I hate to sweat. He also once referred to my reading fantasy novels in terms that suggested he thought I was getting involved with the dark arts, for real. However, we learned to accept each others' hobbies. So, he watches the Tour de France and other TV shows and I read instead. We play computer games together (which I never did until I met him) and he is learning to garden. So if your core values/what you want out of the relationship are the same, I am not sure that lack of shared hobbies is such a big deal.
