Personally I wouldn't make anything different, and the dessert would come out after those who did eat digested their meal. They can take it upon themselves to stop @ Mickey D's or something and feed their kids fast food on the way over if they so desire. Spent yesterday taking Red to the vet for his quarterly check-up (he is doing very well with his 4 teeth), and then the rest of the day at the emergency room with Lynn whose ankle had swollen up quite a bit....they can't find anything wrong, so they casted it in a soft cast because she can't walk on it and gave her a referral to a ortho doc (only took 'em 7 hrs to decide that). SIL has told that girl since she was little that she was "difficult" and "overly sensitive".... well guess what - she IS difficult and overly sensitive (I guess if you hear it enough, you believe it)..... they held her back in 2nd grade because she "couldn't keep up with the other kids" - well guess what, they never made her even TRY!.... in high school, she was "too shy" to eat in the lunch room with everyone else, so SIL had "special permission" to sign her out everyday - GIVE ME A F**%%$#ING BREAK!!!...... then last year, they switched her to another high school, so she could do a special "early graduation" program so she could graduate with her normal class..... according to SIL "she's not into school, so she doesn't want to walk down the isle for graduation".... "she'll just get her diploma in the mail".....!!!!!
