<description>&#60;p&#62;When Kitty is about 6 mos old it will be ok to start the clumping litter.  Be certain you mix the new variety into the old in increments...&#60;br /&#62;
Week 1 --&#38;gt; 3/4 old 1/4 new&#60;br /&#62;
Week 2 --&#38;gt; 1/2 old 1/2 new&#60;br /&#62;
Week 3 --&#38;gt; 1/4 old 3/4 new&#60;br /&#62;
Week 4 --&#38;gt; you have changed over.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;There is only one certain way to keep litter in the box....NO CATS.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I keep my litter pan on an Office Mat (like they put under desks to save the carpet from the chair rollers) and sweep up with a 4 in paintbrush and a dust pan.
