I can't wait to see the new baby's picture. Goose is very cute and I'm sure Maverick is just as cute. Maybe you should think about a Catster page (http://www.catster.com/cats) so we can all see your precious babies. Catster is free and pretty easy to do. If you click on some of our avatars, you can see our Catster pages.

yeah goose wants to be his friend now, but he is too small :( goose plays too rough. its sad because he wants to play soo bad with the little guy now. we took goose in a few times to the vet so far. he actually has to go in for some sniffles probably monday, poor guy. but the little one goes in tomorrow for a deworming and i guess whatever else they need to do. lucky us we know people at an animal clinic :) so they take good care of our babies

he ate today finally! he wanted nothing to do with the bottle, i felt horrible forcing him to eat with a syringe last night. but today he loves it! ate more than what is 'recommended' BUT he is veeery tiny, so im kind of glad he ate a bit today. and he pottys pretty good already, thank goodness! no posts about me waiting for poo this time lol :)

if it wasnt for this site goose wouldnt be here & this little one would be at a shelter (probably about to be euthanized) :( thanks for all of the help in the past! and im sure if i have any more questions i can come right here! :)

Goosey just needs time to get use to the new baby. It will help if they get really well acquainted with each others scent. Has Goosey been to the vet yet? And has the new baby been? You don't want them passing illnesses back and forth but as soon as you know they can safely be together, you can start holding them one at a time without washing between times. They are both young enough that they should adjust to each other quickly.

Oh, RM, all fingers and paws are crossed here for your new baby! Once you get going with this wee one, you'll remember how to do it. You know the TDK family is here for you, and there are many threads that talk about how to raise the infants. Do you have a name yet? What does the baby look like ~ orangie? tabby? calico? meezer?

Goose will soon learn to be patient with your new baby, just give it time.

i feel like i have forgotten how to raise an orphan. my goose (orphan #1) is almost 4 months old now. but my husband found another baby (a week and a half old) at work today covered in grease and oil and gunk. he is all clean now. but i feel like ive forgotten how to take care of one!

ive got him a heating pad and blanky in a kitty cage. he is sitting at the door to the cage just looking out. he looks so sad and lonely. kitty formula is on the way from the store, and ive got plenty of wash cloths. i just hope this baby is a success like the first orphan my husband brought home from work. he is a bit younger, and smaller. i hope he does well. cross your fingers for us!

goose doesnt seem to understand what is going on, he wants to slap the baby and bite the baby & doesnt quit when i show him its a no-no. i hope he doesnt get jealous. he still sucks our fingers til he falls asleep. im afraid he is going to hate this new baby :(
