If he had died during the school year they would have. I know daughter's best friend had him as her science teacher. She wasn't particularly close to him, but she was upset. I used to sub for him before I was hired in. Please pray for his daughters--there seems to be turmoil. Daughters are bringing him back and expected to take him to their church for a funeral. New wife has informed them that his funeral will be at her church. She is Catholic, he has always been a member of the Baptist church. One of his daughters is extremely distraught. He couldn't have been very old if he was still teaching. Dying in your 70's or 80's is one thing.
