Next thing I see is her peering around the corner of the house to see if it's coming after her. She looked so funny. She got brave then and came and wound herself around my legs to show she's no scaredy-cat.<br /> MC, sounds like you had a great time at the station and take your camera next time you go, we'd love to see you wearing all FF gear. I'm working 60 hrs a week including Saturdays, so Sunday is my only day off.<br /> I'm tired of leaving my house at 7:40 in the morning and coming home at 9:30 at night! And I'm really tired of never getting to spend time with my friends. I don't even have time to stay in touch with them over the phone. I've played tennis twice in the last 6 weeks. I saw a t-shirt with 4 cats wearing tennis gear - the back of the shirt had the back view of the cats - it was so cute!<br /> I worked 2 jobs for 15 years; a couple of nights and weekends at a doctor's office. After breakfast, I went upstairs and read ghost stories from books I picked up over the years from the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Since we're not going this year, it was nice to bring a little bit of the beaches of that awesome place here in spirit. It was so cool to read about ghosts and witches while t-stormes raged all morning!<br /> This afternoon I read my book (the other one, as opposed to a book of short stories) and toggled between reading and napping. She loves him and takes good care of him, I see her occasionally and she gives me reports on how he is doing with his big sister kitty. I'm glad he's doing well, but not a day goes by that I don't wish I had kept him too...you are a great mom to your kitties.
