A high school friend that she still keeps in contact with lives out there and emailed me and asked me to call him later..He said there is so much going on with her and it's too much to email. With all she faces in life it is easy to understand how she could easily step back into self destructive behavior. Have you heard from her?? Do you know for sure where she is at?? Try calling her, and if you still feel there is immedate danger and don't know her location, call her local PD and give them her cell #. The kids would be okay, they are 16 and 14 so when I said minors, I apologize, they are minors but I didn't mean young like my kids. I can relate a lot; my dad went through a lot in his life and was an alcoholic and then some pretty much my entire life growing up so I understand all the fear and worry that you feel for both her and her family. I know it is hard. I agree with others; maybe try a wellness check if you think she may be at her home? If she is not at her home and her husband is not mentally capable and her children are minors; who are watching them? I'd call in a wellness check even if you think she isn't there, just to make sure the kids aren't alone and that they are okay too. Update us when you get the chance.
