Do you know when your grandma and her family first moved to that location? I think it is fascinating to learn about family history in the context of the place where it happened. It is all the more meaningful to be able to actually go to the place where these family events happened. It gives one an appreciation for where one comes from. We took the trip to the midwest in june because that is where my mom's family lives.
