A day off from school and work for me! This rarely happens so I'm loving it. I woke up late, made toast with pumpkin butter and chai tea, and sat on the fire escape to eat it. I love how the mornings are getting a little more crisp now. I just made some blueberry muffins and they are baking in the oven. Feeny is chasing a toy mouse. Taco is napping and his nose is sniffing the air in his sleep; perhaps he smells the muffins. Maybe I'll take a nice walk through the park later. I have a bit of homework to do, but other than that the day is amazingly free and I feel so happy and lucky to have a break.
