He came up to say hello to me when I got home and the whole side of his little face was swollen and kind of pink around the eye. His cheek and part of his nose was swollen. I got him in with the vet and he was a little terror. He hissed, growled and spit and they had to wrap him in a towel. The poor vet had to look in his mouth to check if one of his teeth had an abcess - he is one brave guy!<br /> Anyway, there was nothing wrong with the eye itself, so the vet figured either he bumped his face/eye on something or he got bit by something. Since I've been doing battle with bed bugs for the last month, I'm pretty sure what caused it :(<br /> Little Mi got a shot of anti-inflammatory and a shot of pain reliever. He looks much better now - maybe a little bit of swelling still, but not much. Can you close your eyes and just float to the music?</p> <p>I always miss out on MS and Jcat. MS, hope your itchies go away with the milk compresses. As the saying goes..milk does a body good. Milk is good for inflamed skin, a bug bite (helps draw out the anti-coagulant stuff that bug injects into you so it can drink your blood - this is what causes the itch), and of course quells spicy food. I always drank a glass of 2% milk with dinner that ex prepared because even though he claimed he made it mild it was always too spicy for me and without milk would get heartburn later that night. I love Indian food but sometimes it is too spicy and I have to have either yogurt or a glass of milk.</p> <p>Well, our email is down at work and it is effecting a project I am working on. Oh well. Gives me a chance to post here on TDK.</p> <p>I have been using my noise diffuser last couple of nights and it has helped me a bit in my being able to sleep through the night. I was sitting in my apartment last night looking around as I was playing with my two wonderful cats and I thought how I really love the interior of my place but that it is just too darn noisy and no privacy at all (living room windows face a courtyard with both sides having walkways where people can look right into my unit. It is like living in a glass fishbowl). As I looked around, I felt a bit sad since I really liked the floorplan and my cats seemed to enjoy having the balcony to watch people and birds and all and then I reminded myself that there are lots of apartments out there and there must be one that is similar to what I currently have but hopefully in a smaller complex and much quieter. One can only hope.</p> <p>TGIF!! I really want to sleep tomorrow.
