KW followed me to take the car back and took me out to lunch! Needless to say, I talked her ear off about everything and my classes lol.</p> <p>I was not feeling good all last night and had a terrible time sleeping, so I am choosing to take the day off today, knowing that tomorrow I will be studying like crazy. Had a wonderful sushi dinner for cheap!</p> <p>Thursday- I had orientation for 8 hours and had a negative experience with a fellow cohort member that affected my whole day. Ended up staying in that night, getting some grounding going on. and I still had major nerves! I ended up talking to the Program head about the disabilities I face and she was really understanding.</p> <p>Friday- FIRST CLASS!! Major anxiety and nervousness. The class is Social Work &amp; Social Welfare Policy, and not one of my favs as of yet. I talked to my instructor individually and talked about accommodations that could be useful for me. She understands and I don't have to jump through the hoops of the Disability Resource Center hoops. Ended up going out to a traditional Irish pub and had wonderful corned beef and cabbage with fresh tapped Guinness! yumm!</p> <p>Saturday- SECOND CLASS! This class is Human behavior and the Social Environment. It's ok so far, but seems like a review from my undergrad so far, I hope it gets better. I'm planning to drive back to Eugene tonight, after I hangout with a friend up in Portland.</p> <p>Let me know if you have any questions, etc!</p> <p>So far so good...<br /> But I need to remember to breathe..... </p>
