I have looked on a website now and I have to say that the pictures are just gross! Now I understand why he said beginning stage. From what I understand the cysts can take over and you can go into renal failure. He thinks it looks like the beginning of polycystic kidney disease. No cure, but treatable. For now we are monitoring he said. He now wants me to find out what the shadow is in the colon. I thought well dear God here we go again. Because I get regular colonoscopies because of the cancerous polyps that were removed 21 years ago, I am feeling pretty safe that anything there will be minor. I guess PKD explains the pain and the reoccurring headaches, when I never get headaches. You have no idea--if I had energy I would happy dance. He then mentioned that I might have the flu--the look I shot him was enough. I am doing fine on liquids and have eaten some fish for the past 3 days--I refuse to get the flu. Not to mention the word just sets my husband on his heals.
