He'd invite folks to slice a piece and watch them wrestle with the darn thing. She had a teacher that LOVED Halloween. The schools here are not allowed to do anything with Halloween because it is offensive to several religions. I made the cake--it is just gross and tasty--not religiously offensive. My mother didn't have too many silly moments, but every year at Halloween she would make this cake and have so much fun with it! Each year at Halloween several neighbors all get together and set up chairs in the driveway and all the kids can just go chair to chair and get their candy, it saves them time and the adults have fun talking and we all bring something to eat. I think maybe this year I should try this cake.
