I don't know if you can get it over there but my pet store here in MAlaysia sells a deodorizer aimed especially to remove odour caused by cats'/dogs' urine/poo. It contains live microorganisms that breakdown the stuff. I usually spray it on the offending spot and leave it on for abt an hour. Then i wash it off. Works wonders when you want to stop kitty from urinating on a particular spot and start using the litter box too.

or try lemon juice, undiluted. Leave it on for abt an hr. But be careful, soem materials might be too fragile for the raw juice.

Okay... will call to get Jetta to the vet asap and rule out/in a UTI for her urinating on my things. Next question: what is good to get the odor out in the laundry? I have to wash everything twice and there is still a "slight" smell (or is it my imagination?)
