We have everything we need to be stuck here for the next few days - did all the shopping and errands on Monday and Tuesday - have lived in snow country long enough to know to get things done early. She had a stroke, but the doctor got some medicine into her right away and thought that it would help her a lot since everything was done so quickly in getting her medical attention. She is a little more alert, but still having a little difficulty with memory. Our receptionist suddenly had trouble speaking and seemed a bit "out of it". So we called 911 and had them check her over. She was beginning to get a little better, but because she has a heart irregularity, they took her to the hospital. We called her daughters and they were going to meet her there. I'm her back-up, so I had to get all my stuff together and come up front to the receptionist desk to answer the phones. One year, a department fashioned a medieval cathedral, complete with 'stained glass window' out of a big old pumpkin. Big fun. Libraries are places to play too :-) </p>
