I think kittens grow their nails faster. Check them weekly and when she has succeeded in sharpening them to a point again, clip it off.</p> <p>Does she have a scratching post? You should be able to see the blood vessel in it. DO NOT clip the blood vessel. If you aren't comfortable, just clip the little pointy bit off. That's all you are really trying to do - get rid of the sharp point.
