There really was nothing they coudl do for him, as the cancer was right by his eyes and brain. They didn't want him to lose vision and/or have brain difficulties. We made him comfortable, nothing heroic, and when it was time, we let him go home to the bridge. We knew when he couldn't breathe anymore due to the cancer growth he was ready. He lasted nearly a year after diagnosis. Stay strong, you will all make it thru.
