I just made sure to wash my hands very well afterward. I have 2 cats and I didn't have a problem. You could even wear gloves if you desired. Well he was like I'm not changing the litter you'll have to get rid of them. I'm not sure if he was joking or not, but what are your alls thoughts on this? My cats do not go outside nor do they eat raw meat. Plus you can get this toxo blah blah from mishandling meat, so don't I have just as much risk cooking as cleaning out the litter? </p>
