Used to have a kitty who did that, I would hold onto his tail with one hand, and scritch his chin with the other. When he was a wee babe I couldn't do that, he was too small (awww) but when he was full grown, he still favored sleeping above my head on the pillow to any other place on the bed. </p> <p>Hearing a kitty purr is the most comforting, relaxing sound in the world. Having your kitty purr you to sleep is a wonderful, magical thing. She likes to sleep next to my head or the space on the pillow between my head and the headboard.
