That is normal for them to be sleepy after vaccinations. My Harry goes in on Fri for his yearly visit this fri.

She's back on her feet. They only give two per visit and we stayed a few minutes just to be sure she was okay, but I couldn't remember if the sleeping was normal. Thanks for responding.

I think it's fairly normal. It's best not to give multiple vaccinations at once as they can be harder on cats. If she's still just sleeping after 12 - 15 hours, then you might want to call the vet. That happened to one of my cats once, after he'd been given a multiple vaccine. I was told to give him 1/8th of a tablet of aspirin, and that returned him to normal quickly.

Hey everyone, I have a kitten, Junie B, formally Bella, who just got her first vaccinations today. Since we got home she's just slept and done nothing else, is that normal. She did eat a little when we got home and used her litter box, but since then, about three hours she's just been on my bed all tuckered out.

Let me know what you think if you don't mind.

Thanks
