That's a cool story skyron. Baby and Persia aren't related though, so that cant be the reason. What's weird is Baby (who is a boy) normally hates all the other cats. Every other cat we have fights over the catch too. Too bad the video camera is never around when this stuff happens :)

I once had a feral (gypsy, who turned out to be a boy) who was a kitten from the momma cat's previous litter - he would catch grasshoppers and bugs and fish, anything he could find, and bring it to his younger brothers and sisters (they were about 3 weeks old at the time) when the mommy got run over. It was very touching to see such a young boy take care of his baby siblings like that :)

That's so cool PK! I never really knew a cat who shared - my boys were brats!
However, they did present a mouse to hubby several years ago. I had stopped home between jobs and I would leave the attic door open as an extra room for the boys to play. Saw a mouse up there, told the boys to handle it, and apparently they did! Visualizing one cat in the attic knocking the mouse down into the house, and the other pouncing on it till it had a heart attack. Then it was left right inside the back door as a present to hubby and proof to mama that they always did as they were told!

Baby knew that Persia was still under the weather, and she wanted to make sure that her friend had a good meal.

Sweet Baby!

We have a lot of field mice and rats in the field and woods. This morning, something really unsual happened. Our himalayan (Baby) caught one of these mice, carried over to Persia (who still has the injured tail) and set it down in front of her. The mouse took off, Persia caught it and took it into the brush pile to eat. Baby just sat there and let her do it! Pretty amazing for a kitty to share like that
